A message for our Black members Ways to help for our white and non-Black members #BlackLivesMatter
We are an independent member-run organization. We offer nearly all of our programs and support for free to our 650+ members.
Help us continue to offer affordable community resources and events by making a one-time or recurring donation. Our expenses are covered by member dues and donations from people who support our space for marginalized game makers.
Our mandate and facilities meet a demonstrated need for more inclusive access to independent video game culture and resources. Donations from individuals allow us to cover:
As independent artists, freelancers, gig workers, retail and service workers, and people otherwise precariously housed and employed, many members are disproportionately affected by the closure of businesses and physical distancing measures that isolate them from their regular support systems – including our warm and inclusive community hub at TMAC.
While we miss being in space together so much, we are taking these restrictions as an opportunity to focus on creating new initiatives we have been dreaming about for a while. There will be a slight lull for the summer as we gear up for this new way of working, and we'll be launching a full suite of new programs in September to coincide with our annual conference, Damage Camp.
If you are financially able, please consider donating via credit card on this page, or by sending an e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org.
