This workshop is for artists, low-income folks and PoC. Session is capped at 20 participants.
Have you ever wanted to make a podcast? Ready to take your existing podcast to the next level? In this 3-hour session, we’ll cover the Canadian podcast landscape, podcasting basics, common mistakes, and free tools & resources.
The session will include hands-on production activities and a listening party.

Bring your laptop if you have one (we have loaners available), headphones, any recording gear (portable recording devices/microphones), and your smartphone.
This workshop series was created by Katie Jensen, a Toronto-based freelance producer and writer. Her work has appeared in the Polaris Music Prize, pluspluspodcast, Motherboard, Canadaland, Appcanary, and The Imposter. She runs a monthly food, music, and art series called Feast In The East and plays in the band Baby Cages.
