Get out your pliers, wires and Arduino paraphernalia! This summer we’re bringing out the hardware and jamming on alternative ways to control games. Take an existing game and revamp its controls or team up with hardware folks for you game!
Why not explore expanding your games past the controller and keyboard into just about anything that might conduct a bit of electricity?
Come and hack away the weekend away with… JULIVEWIRE!
On the first day of the jam, we’ll kick off with talks on Makey-Makey with Nadine Lessio and Wearable Controllers with Izzie Colpitts-Campbell.
Then it’s time to get jamming!
Haven’t got a clue how to get started on your creation? No problem! We’ve got some pre-jam events to get you started:
Find a team and start scheming! This will run alongside Games with Friends, Bento Miso’s biweekly public game night.
