6:30pm - 9:30pm
at Gamma Space, 862 Richmond Street West
Get started with ZBrush, a powerful (and sometimes convoluted!) sculpting, painting, and illustration tool.
We’ll be diving into the interface, tools, and best practices for creating game meshes.
New game makers, experienced devs, visual artists, sculptors and people who just want a flexible tool for making art easily.
If you wish to follow along, you’ll need a copy of Zbrush installed on your laptop. Most laptops can run Zbrush – even a Surface Pro 2 runs it like a dream. A 45-day free trial is available online.
We have loaner laptops available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please reserve one by emailing us.
Dan John Cox has been teaching and working in games for nearly a decade, working studios big and small including Ubisoft and currently Capybara Games. He’s talked at GDC multiple times and other conferences around the world.
