Feb 07, 2015

The LADIE is an interactive fiction game written and coded by Elisa Tersigni and Chris J. Young during DMG’s Feb Fatale: “Killer Interfaces.” LADIE (pronounced “lady”), or the Library Access Database Index Engine, is an interface through which users find information in a future dystopia. LADIE was designed by Professor Jorge Luis Eco to provide users with the single perfect information source for their needs, replacing search engines and the millions of potential sources they used to provide, to correct the issues of with overabundance of information. But the “pro-choicers”—a ‘terrorist’ group believing in choice of information sources—is fighting back.
