About No Jam

Nov 10, 2012—Nov 18, 2012

20 women made games during DMG Toronto's first-ever two-weekend game jam for new game makers, Nov. 10 - 18, 2012.

No Jam was DMG Toronto’s third women-in-games program. It provided a quick-and-dirty introduction to DIY game-making by throwing participants into the frenzied, extremely time-limited format of a game jam.

The weekend before the jam was crammed with 9 crash-course lectures/workshops on various topics related to creating games, including history, theory, level design, audio and graphics production, project planning, and more.
