DMG is a grassroots, community-driven not-for-profit videogame arts organization founded in 2012. We create space for communities that are often marginalized in tech and games spaces to make, play and critique videogames within a cultural context. This role will be working across a number of our current projects including: Damage Labs & our upcoming 6-week new game maker intensive.
This is a contract role, so you will set your own hours and use your own equipment About you
This job is a part of the Canada Summer Jobs program and is meant to be a learning opportunity for youth in Canada. There are no prerequisites though applicants need to be under 30.
A few assets to the position would be:
This role will work primarily with participants and mentors in DMG programming to ensure everyone involved in the programming is comfortable and happy. It will involve scheduling programming as well as assisting in planning of our day-to-day activities.
