On the chilly weekend of February 16-17, DMG members descended on Bento Miso for Feb Fatale : our first “classic” game jam. The theme: Deceit, destruction, and all things diabolical.
See some of the games in person and meet the creators at our Speaker Social on February 23!
Feb Fatale is generously sponsored by Bento Miso and Feminists in Games.
Here’s what the participants made:
Being a chronic bitchface sufferer her entire life, Mikayla has grown tired of weird dudes telling her to “smile” or asking her “where’s the funeral?” She decided to vent her frustrations with a game. Bitchface Pro is going to be a little toy that enables the user to create the best bitchface possible. The user will then submit their bitchface avatar and win points for things like ‘super furrowed brow bonus’ and ‘mega eye roll.’

The Crave is about a monster who craves drugs and eats them to protect humans from doing said drugs so we can feel like we have peace or something.
You play the melancholy and misunderstood ghost of Richard III, and your goal is to help him repair his severely damaged reputation as a King of England. Did he kill the Princes in the Tower? Was he really like his character in Shakespeare’s play? Will he ever get a horse? It’s up to you to help him.
Your plan is almost complete; You’ve murdered your mysterious rich husband in his stately manor. Now all that stands between you and freedom is a few last minute preparations, some maids loyal to the master of the house, and some detectives hot on your trail! Make sure you collect everything you’ll need, and don’t be afraid to use your powers of seduction!
Spend the season in the British Countryside, meet the family, guests and servants that inhabit a glorious estate, and participate in all the mischief, romance and social climbing that is sure to follow.
You must spend a whole evening with your boyfriend while trying to evade the fact that you cheated on him just before coming to the apartment. Also there is a knife throwing interface.
Panic Attack! is a text-based game for exploring another perspective. It is a day-in-the-life simulation of what it can be like to live with an Anxiety Disorder.
